Fishing Regulations on Mill Creek

In season, fish along the banks of Mill Creek and leave your cares behind.

Mill Creek is classified trout water from State Highway 171, upstream to the headwaters.  This means the harvest season runs from the first Saturday in May at 5:00 a.m. to October 15th.  Early season catch and release fishing is allowed from the first Saturday in January through the Friday preceding the first Saturday in May.  During this time, all trout shall be immediately released and only artificial lures may be used.  All fishing is prohibited from October 16th to the first Saturday in January.

General inland water fishing regulations apply when fishing on Mill Creek, downstream of State Highway 171.

The Trout Regulations and Opportunities User Tool (TROUT) is provided by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (WDNR).  This mapping tool shows trout fishing regulations (including seasons, length limits and bag limits), classified trout water, public land, and WDNR fishing easements.  To access TROUT, click here.
